Lullaby Leaves Guesthouse — Hotel in Ditsobotla Local Municipality

Did not enjoy my stay at Lullaby Leaves Guesthouse.

The photos we received prior to booking, did not look anything like the room we were given.

Room smells odd. Door struggles to lock and unlock.

Bath tub in the bathroom, but is covered up with wood and dead plants, with no taps. Not everyone likes a shower.

The shower is most uncomfortable. Shower head is so low and right in your face. Hot water is scorching hot and very dangerous especially for children. When you open the cold water tap, just cold water comes out even though the hot water tap is open on full. Water too hot to shower in and ended up having a cold shower as you cannot adjust the water to get a comfortable medium.

The towels are so hard and rough, you can probably scrape the paint off the walls with them.

Bed very uncomfortable, 2 single beds pushed together. Bed feels like you sleeping on stones and could not get a comfortable night's rest.

Having to listen to a crying baby from the room next door most of the night, made it even worse, together with People driving in and out of the driveway during the night which goes right past the window made it an unpleasant experience and wakes you up.

Although it is a self catering establishment, Most guesthouses offer a breakfast in the price paid, which is not the case here.

Although it was just a place to sleep overnight, Management should look into the comments above to better your guesthouse to ensure a comfortable experience to your guests.

We stayed one night for a school sports event. We booked 2 rooms and they had what we needed for the most part. Unfortunately in the one room there was no water but the owner/manager sorted it out in less than a minute for us. Sadly there are no generators or inverters for when it is load shedding but other than that the property was decent and tidy.
