This is a very nicely furnished, modern and very well situated B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. ||||We arrived in the evening and was checked into a beautiful, clean room with a delicious welcoming drink and all. The linen was good quality, the bed so comfortable ant the bathroom clean. There was an aircon in the room, a bar fridge, table and coffee and tea facilities as well as tv with some DSTV channels. The grounds of the B&B include a jacuzzi and swimming pool, as well as ample outside seating for a lovely day in the sun. The management was very helpful and friendly.||||The only (almost) complaint we have is the dogs who own the area, which you would not think if you see how very clean the rooms are. The dogs make themselves at home and cosy up to the guests, which means they have to be chased out of the room if you leave your door open. Donβt get us wrong, we like dogs and love Labradors, but I prefer not to have them all over me or in my bedroom. The other problem is that in the morning early when we went to return the key for our room, one of the dogs had messed on the floor in the breakfast room where the other guest would shortly be eating. I am sure this would have been cleaned up before breakfast service started, but it is unhygienic to have dogs living and messing in the space where people want to sit down and eat. ||||Even though the above was a turn-off on a great evening, we would gladly return to Blueβs Guesthouse in the future and probably stay longer so that one can enjoy the view, jacuzzi and braai area. ||||Tip: If you would like to make use of the Jacuzzi, let management know so they...

I had my intimate wedding at Blue's December 2021 and I'm glad I stuck with this choice despite Donna-Mae dragging her feet with quoting us for our big day. At some point, I got the impression that the owner just did not value my business and that is definitely a low point to get to when planning a wedding.
My wedding guests and I where taken care of so well by the staff (Dimples really deserves special mention) and the pictures from the day looked amazing!
After the wedding my frustration with the admin/ management unfortunately resurfaced as I struggled to get receipts/ invoices/ statements to account for what I believe to be extra charges.

After not hearing from them for 7 days I made follow up but was given the run around. I escalated the matter to the booking platform I had used(hotel.com) and the matter was swiftly resolved and I got my refund.
