Grandview guest house and conference centre — Hotel in Eastern Cape

The rooms are nice and clean! No fridge,no iron, no microwave and no water and glasses for guests (we drank from the toilet sink) No hot water at night time.the clueless lady at the reception who's never at her post🚩.u cant tell who the staff is coz they r dressed in own clothes, u have to go around that huge place looking for someone to help u🚩 We went out Saturday morning at 9am ,came back at 1pm and our bed was still upside down,they hadn't cleaned coz they thought w were coming bek much later according to the receptionist.we wanted linen changed we were told they dont charge linen daily.microwave is at the conference Centre or sumthing, and so some people had booked it for a rehearsal or something abd w could not get microwave coz w cudnt disturb the people who had booked it.definetly wouldn't tell anyone about this place.id share info regarding the games...

Grand view adventures, what a dump…If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolute pathetic service!!! RUDE STAFF is an understatement. Paid R250 for 13 people which is R3250 for a quad bike drive which was supposed to be 20-25 minutes as per the person working at reception. They only let us drive for 5 mins!!!! And then refused to refund us or let us ride for the allocated amount of time!! A absolute ripoff. The guide swore at us. All we wanted was our moneys worth of a quad bike drive. Very disappointing and will definitely never ever go back. The manager and owner were absolutely useless and refused to come to a solution for us. Their bumper cars and excavation cars were also not working, place is run down and a dump. Definitely don’t see this place...

The establishment needs proper management in terms of: 1. Reception & 2. Hospitality. Requires stationed staff. Welcoming & adequate lighting. Arranged & neat with adequate seats. User friendly equipment, at least two floor rugs around the bed & bed side lamps. Cups & beverages - not supply when requested. A door or anything to conceal someone in the bath area. Room refresher/ aerosols. Shower caps & a mat in front of toilet seat. The establishment is beautiful & appealing. It will flourish if properly managed with well trained staff. Each room is supposed to be managed individually and not transfer from an empty one to supply what is requested. We love the place and it's...
