Mackenzies is the best self-catering and b&b accommodation that I ever had the extreme pleasure of staying at. I stayed in both the luxury room and the self-catering unit. Both were absolutely wonderful, with views and privacy. Secure parking and most scrumptious breakfast.Perfect hosting, the most beautiful rooms and units absolutely fantastically equipped with the highest of quality items and utensils.I will always return to this extraordinary accommodation . Wow. Stunning view that left us refreshed.Great, clean rooms. Beautiful big bathroom with shower and jaccuzzi. This is really an awesome place with awesome owners. Thank you very much Annetjie and Gunther for all the calls,messages and guidance when I got lost. Thanks for your hospitality, offering me an extra room free of charge for my mother, the fresh muffins you brought to our room, the chocolates on the bed, rusks in the kitchen and so many more... You really went out of your way to make us feel welcome and at home. Would stay at your place again when I am in East London and would recommend it to everyone travelling there too... From the moment I entered Mackenzie property with the view of the Nahoon river, I was enchanted by the elegance of the architecture which seemed to pull the outside natural beauty into the very heart of the inside space.... so tranquil, so absolutely what I needed to be surrounded by Mother Nature who transported me to a place of peace and calming reflection. Simply, this scene is Luscious And then I saw the wildlife and stunning bird life!!
