King Guest Lodge — Hotel in Eastern Cape

Extremely unpleasant experience, the place is very noisy, I guess if you did not book upstairs, you are not important enough to be considered. We booked as a halfway stop on the way home, paid so much, but could not rest at all... This continued non-stop throughout our stay. Kitchen cupboards slamming, other guests tv's are so loud you can't even hear your own, staff shouting at each other, people talking right by our door, because thats where the kitchen & lounge is. We had a great stay only problem was that booking.com stated rooms that we paid for but we didn't get. The staff was really not helpful in assisting with this issue, they just blamed booking.com didn't give any alternatives so we didn't have enough beds but it worked out in the end. The wifi also wasn't working. Overall very nice place kids enjoyed the pools and grown-ups enjoyed chills next to the pool...

Terrible place. I booked two nights. There was so much of noise from the pipes (geyser) as well as other guest slamming doors that my wife and I could not sleep. We could not get hold of the owner or assistant. The next morning we advised them that we cannot stay the second night and we would like a refund, the owner just left.
