LEOTOLI BOUTIQUE HOTEL — Hotel in Emnambithi/Ladysmith Local Municipality

I arrived in late December 2014 with my husband and 1 year old son. The accommodation provided all what we needed to make our stay very pleasant. The room was big, very clean and spotless and my son slept in a very comfortable cot. The bathroom was also very spacious. ||As we had problems with our flight to Johannesburg (including cancellation and loss of our suitcases), the owners very kindly made us feel more than welcome! (they didn't have to, as it is a B&B, but they even waited for us with a hot dinner and got some clothes from their grandchild for our son to use while we recovered our suitcases). Also, as we arrived with delay and didn't have a chance to make plans for new year, they kindly invited us to their family new year party.||The breakfast was very nicely prepared every day and their bar was very well assorted. They also provided a good guidance of all the activities that we could do around the area. It was the perfect accommodation and the ideal base to access the Drakensberg area and battlefields. We celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful venue and could not have chosen better. The large dining area and outside patio, surrounded by stunning gardens, easily accommodated 20+ people each. The decor throughout is very original and displays the hosts' creativity and free spirit. It was such a pleasure to be hosted by Pierre (unfortunately his wife was not present during this weekend) who is not only a superb cook but a superb host who so obviously loves what he does. Every detail was perfect yet the atmosphere relaxed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are particularly beautiful. Stylish, exceptionally clean and spacious. We have stayed elsewhere in Ladysmith, I am happy to say that when you visit Ladysmith in winter, it's nice to have a warm room. The Aircon worked well. I assume it would work equally as well in summer when you need to cool a room down.||We enjoyed the evening meal cooked personally by Pierre. Complete multi-course meal and very affordable.||Room was spacious. TV and internet worked well. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous (buffet style).||We really enjoyed the personal attention by Pierre and his staff. We truly felt like a valued guest. Will we return?
