We stayed at La Boheme for a conference in October 2015 and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The owners and staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our needs and provide a pleasant stay for the 8 of us. Small details like daily treats on pillows and attentively replenished coffee stations, impeccably tidied rooms and hygienic bathrooms made our stay all the more relaxing, especially in the hot summer. The pool was also in pristine condition and available for use. Everyday we were treated to a delicious breakfast, both hot and cold, with an assortment of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt, coffee and teas, eggs made to order and a variety of additional dishes on offer. Read more2 almost 3 stays at this guesthouse. 1st stay (2022) we arrived at 5pm, she insisted on the payment as we got there as the lady who works there had dinner plans with friends. The POS wasnt working due to loadshedding but she was in a hurry and rushed us due to her plans. 2nd stay the one gate's remote wasn't working, the cleaner gave me a remote for the other gate and instructed me to park there. After 9pm she knocked on my door telling me I have to move my car as I am on another rooms parking spot. I had to load both child and baby to move my car. 3rd stay we booked. I was phoned to ask what time we will be arriving. I told her in about 30mins. When we got there at the time I arranged we waited, phoned, rang the bell, hooted for 45 minutes. We were'nt let in. Read moreMy family and I( 3 adults and one infant) are travelling to Cape Town and booked a room for the night which was confirmed through Airbnb and money debited from our bank account. After some car trouble the tow truck company was kind enough to drive us to our accomodation only to be greeted by an extremely rude man who refused to accommodate us cause there was no available rooms. Stranded with a 2month baby at 3 in the morning we were forced to make alternate arrangements.This morning we called for them to cancel our booking so we could get our money back to which Gerde says that they had a room and her husband saw 6 people which is why they didn't let us in.
