Heatherdale Guesthouse — Hotel in Gauteng

The worse, bad and ugly ever in my life I won't recommend anyone even my enemy to book at this place, I made a booking via booking.com on 05 September 2025 till 06 September 2025 I then received confirmation I was from Meadowlands in Soweto visiting my cousin in Rosslyn Gardens when I arrive at the Heatherdale around 23h00 no one at the gate to open for us the telephone numbers on the signage at the premises are not answered, as well as numbers I received from booking.com are not answered I stood for almost an hour phoning booking.com to assist me buy seemingly they also couldn't get hold of personnel, take note it's me my wife and 2 kids 11 and 5 we stranded with fear of been robbed, then we had to go back to my cousin and unfortunately we had to wait for response from booking.com but nothing then the solution was to drive back...

The owner was very friendly and the staff so helpful that i would give them 4 stars alone. The 2 stars I base on the room and the food. The room we got was not what was advertised (what was advertised was a basic room with a couch and full bathroom), it was way smaller and with a shower only and toilet that was dirty on arrival. Hand towels were used as carpets on each side of the bed and only 1 towel was put in the room whereas this was a couple booking, i had to ask for another towel.
