Host hub guest house — Hotel in Gauteng

The room was spacious, clean and airy. Hosts are welcoming and accommodative. Stayed here for two weeks and almost another week booked in advance, with my daughter. All was well until there was guests who did not consider the rest of the guests. A lady screaming at the top of her lungs in a room with two men. The first time it happened I went to inform the host that it is disturbing especially because my daughter was on the phone with her tutor and he asked if she is okay because he could hear the sounds. The host said that the guest will not be staying implying that we should just hold it out until they are done. When it happened the second time I had to leave and get my daughter out of there. I understand that they do not know what guests intensions are when they book but they could have handled it better. They did not address the guests causing the disturbance, instead tried to convince us to stay as it will be over soon. I obviously could not stay, and checked out.

They do not give any refunds, however they did give me a 50% refund on the 4 nights I have booked. If you have rules for your establishment it is best to follow them. Your rules state that guests should be considerate of other guests. Unfortunately I can not book there again, due to the trauma of my child. But it was a good two weeks until this incident. I have lost money but will never place my daughter in a situation like that ever again, as I am responsible for her. Not a kid friendly guest house
