Please be warned, this place is not what you see on the pictures!!!!! We booked the most expensive room they have as this room have it’s own bathroom, paid R912.00. On arrival the gentleman that received us were were unprofessional and it seemed he didn’t know what was going on, looking for paperwork and playing gamws on his tablet while serving us. We then got a key for our room without a remote for the gate, when I asked for a remote he replied they only have one and on top of that the intercom didn’t work. Not being impressed about the remote and how we wil be coming and going as we were attending a function and not sure what time we will be returning, also how will we get hold of the person to let us inas it might only be very late. When we got to our room...... I was shocked, this is a dump, the carpets are dirty, the shower ceiling and floor is black of the dirt growing on it, the ceiling is full of spiderwebs and eggs of some insect....... and this paying R912.00... when I addressed the person helping is and demanded a refund he gave me a number of the owner, when I contacted her and explained that I’m not happy with the place and requested a refund she informed me that she is not the owner and that she will get back to me,,, and she is very rude. Late that night after finding alternative accommodation in toen for a fraction of the cost and it was clean, I received a call from the owner, I’ve explained my concerns about the accommodation and he started swearing me. Not sure if I’m going to be refunded, please please go and have a look before you...

On Arrival the gentleman took us through the kitchen and laundry to the rooms. He did not show us the room that we booked and told us we can choose any of the rooms. The room we had for the night was not a queen size as per our booking but a double bed. There were bedside lamps, but no globes in the lamps, so we could use the lamps. The TV could not be switched on with the remote. Once we switched the TV on directly on the TV, the sound was terrible. There was no coffee in the room, no cups and the kettle was in the "common" area. The bedding appeared to be either stained or dirty. The pillows were also not up to standard - the one were two very old, thin, worn-out pillows in one pillowcase. We were a couple staying overnight, but only had one towel. The bathroom door could not close. There wasn't an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. When this was needed we had to go and find the cleaner to ask for a roll of toilet paper. The phones also did not work in the room, when we tried to phone reception to ask for the toilet paper. The shower door could also not close properly and the drain of the shower was blocked almost resulting in the bathroom being flooded. My husband stays in guesthouses frequently and commented that this was the worst he has...
