Monacco Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

Upon arrival, the staff was friendly BUT the reception chairs were old and dirty. When finally leaving for the room, the room has no air-conditioning even though we specifically asked for a room that meets that requirement on booking.com. The room was dirty, as if they didn't clean after the previous guests. Empty shampoo bottles, no coffee or tea, etc. The shower mat looked like it has never been washed since they built the place. The shower was dirty and the water was hot for a second and then cold. The water basin had no soap and we struggled to turn it open or closed. TV didn't work at all. TVs blue light is disturbing when trying to sleep. Only 1 large towel for two people and a small hand towel. Not enough toilet paper. The "king size bed" was in actuality only two 3 quarter beds pushed together. Overall...

We had a very bad experience at this place. One can book in from 14h00. We arrived 14h30. There were no one at reception, we looked around, finally someone came. We were informed that Our room was not read yet because they did not expect us. We went to the room to get the key. The room was a mess. Please redo your bathroom and your ceiling has moth growing on the roof which is un acceptable ,please put extra coffee in your rooms in the winter months , one per guest is also not good enough , there needs to be a security gate on all doors to make people feel safe , your DSTV package needs to be upgraded to premium package for all channels, no snacks available at your premises , you could generate...
