Eagles Nest — Hotel in George

What an amazing experience this was! We were traveling from Cape Town for work and after working he spontaneously suggested we find a place for the night as we were exhausted. We just happened to find Eagles Nest on Lekkaslaap and we booked it as we fell in love with this place. It looked amazing and the jacuzzi locked us in.

When we arrived, we saw the view of our chalet, we had the best chalet and best views 😍😍😍😍😍

I was so excited about the jacuzzi, it was so amazing, we had candles, champagne and a few sweet things too 🤩

We did however have loadshedding, but that gave us even more time to spend together. This place has been the best place we've visited over the past 5 years. It's so romantic too and you just don't want to leave. I did not want to leave but we had to make our way home.

Just the view is enough for it to earn four stars. This was our first stay at Egles Nest and is now out of all the places we've stays our personal favorite. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and spacious. The facilities is somthing a couple, friends or a family can enjoy. This is also one of the VERY few places you don't wish you had your own bedding because once you are snuggled into bed your overcome with the wonderful smell of the fresh flowery linen. Then the rates - UNBELIEVABLE!! Very well priced. All in this was an an amazing experience that everyone should feel free to have. They will most definitely be seeing more of us...

We stayed in a unit during the week. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the view over the water and mountains. The service received was great, even when we had no electricity due to an outage in a big area; they brought hot water for coffee in the mornings. The braai and grid also gets cleaned daily.
