Esperanza Countryside Accomodation — Hotel in George

This venue offers a great countryside getaway for larger groups. The property has an incredible 360-degree view of the Geelhoutboom farmlands, Outeniqua mountain ranges, and distant coastline.

The suitably equipped kitchen is able to handle slightly more robust groups such as large families, golf tours, and even a bachelors. Bare this in mind if you are needing cut glass rather than cut grass.

There is a large yard with well-kept pool and boma area for outdoor entertainment. This is comlimented with a large lounge, indoor braai, and pool table for the inclement weather. Yes the last +-3km road is gravel, this is countryside living, not the Ritz. Get your supplies in George as there aren't many shops nearby.

After booking on Airbnb, the host didn’t respond. No clarity just new rates sent in the inbox. Her claim was that Airbnb messed up the rates and she wanted a higher rate. Needless to say, after well after a week, three email follow ups and the below images of how many times I followed up, Elmare was not assisting in any manner. She clearly knew she could get more money by avoiding communication. Personally it seems unethical and the bottom line just terrible...

The gravel road getting there is an awful and long one. The linen and couches had a terrible damp smell. I am unsure as to how they have a 9.5 rating on bookings.com. There are free roaming roosters. Pigs on site too. Not ideal for me, as I find that unattractive. Very gloomy...
