Mysthill Farm George — Hotel in George

What a gem of a place my husband discovered while googling the delicious Mysthill butter we found in a store - never did we know that moment would lead to one of our loveliest weekend escapes ever.

The scenery is unmatched, rolling hills spotted with cows and horses and all manner of wonderful nature. The best times we had here were honestly spent watching the horses graze from the porch while drinking coffee with fresh farm milk - to die for!

Having already extended our stay and seen the thoughtfulness of our hosts first-hand, we're already making plans to return as soon as possible. Mark and Fiona are top-notch people and really went out of their way to make our stay wonderful.

Best booking made in the Garden Route. The road was a nerve tester, rainy weather made it a nightmare, but it was worth every sharp breath drawn, every slide, every mud puddle and swerve. It's picture perfect, located between green mountains and valleys. Cows with calfs close by and friendly horses. Fire place 🔥 heated the whole cottage. Equipped well offering everything you need. What a wonderful place..... The views are spectacular. The peace is palpable and intoxicating. The hot tub was a hit with the kids.... And they were able to run and explore in this safe environment. The hosts are incredible and so accommodating. We loved to see the cheese and butter making process. We highly recommend Mysthill Farm to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
