Thank you to the general manager Fisani Mncube and his amazing team for the wonderful week at Fancourt. Fisani came to sit with us at our last breakfast to check how our stay was which was great. Shiona at reservations handled our booking very efficiently and professionally. We were welcomed warmly by all staff. Thando is a true ambassador of your hotel. He should be in a more senior position. George was such a gentleman. The room was beautiful and the garden was so gorgeous. The estate is breathtaking and extremely well maintained. My children had a fantastic time cycling, playing tennis, playing basket ball, swimming and playing games in the entertainment area. We never saw my six year old nephew as he loved the kids club so much. Thank you for taking such good care of him. The highlight of our day was breakfast every morning as the breakfast team was remarkable. Ramon and Zozo goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Zozo and her team sang Happy Birthday to my daughter in such a moving way that brought my mother to tears. The staff at La Cantina knew my daughter’s name and always checked on them. They treated my mother like a Queen. Siyasanga was consistently the best waitress at breakfast. She was kind, friendly and remembered what everyone wanted in the mornings for breakfast. Thulisa was a graceful and kind waitress in the evening at dinner. The food at La Cantina was excellent. Thank you to the chefs. When we arrived and entered our room Eden had arranged a Birthday cake and balloons to welcome my daughter to her Birthday getaway. Eden also consistently checked on us and whenever something was wrong I could go to her and she would take care of it for me. The food from In Room Dining was delicious and their service was good. There are a few areas that requires attention and stronger management. 1. Spa - the Roman pools stink and needs to be maintained throughout the day. The spa reception staff need to get themselves in gear. The reception and the two therapists who gave us manicures was not friendly at all which made me cancel all my bookings at the spa. This is something I really looked forward to which I was very disappointed about. 2. Our last night we had dinner at Monet which was a disaster! The hostess was not available to seat us nor did she come check on us. The food was horrible. Very disappointed by this. 3. Siya was horrible to my kids at the gym and at the bicycle station. He needs to learn how to communicate with teenagers. 4. Housekeeping needs a strong manager. The housekeepers have the will to do the work. They need the correct tools and management to clean the rooms to a five start standard. 5. The room was not well equipped and the housekeepers did not replenish well. 6. Some flowers and a fruit basket would have been nice in the room. 7. Something very small but makes a huge difference. If you walk into the Table Bay Hotel or 12 Apostles hotel or any hotel in Dubai you get hit with an amazing smell. This can be worked on as well. Thank you for having us and I hope my constructive criticism helps for the future.

Our recent stay at Fancourt in George was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their genuine hospitality and warm nature instantly made us feel at home, even with the crisp winter air outside. The manager Fisani could do enough for us and sure our stay was extra special. The rooms were beautifully appointed, always cozy and warm thanks to the underfloor heating — such a treat on chilly evenings! We especially loved the fireplace, which we enjoyed every night, creating the perfect, comforting atmosphere. The cleanliness of the entire property was exceptional, and waking up to the breathtaking views every morning was an absolute delight. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic kids club. Our children had an amazing time riding bikes around the beautiful grounds and joining in on endless activities that kept them entertained all day long. It was wonderful to see them so happy and engaged, giving us parents some time to relax and unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was a true sanctuary. From the Roman baths to the steam room, plunge pool, and so much more, every moment spent there felt luxurious and rejuvenating. Food lovers will be in paradise at Fancourt. There are so many different restaurants to choose from, each offering a variety of delicious options that cater to every taste. Every meal we had was memorable, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Zane was so kind and thoughtful. Overall, Fancourt is a perfect blend of luxury, warmth, and family-friendly fun. Whether you’re looking to relax at the spa, explore the beautiful grounds with your kids, or indulge in world-class dining, this is a place that truly has it all. We can’t wait to return!

Stayed at Fancourt Manor House as part of a golf group. While this was a fabulous experience I was a non golfer so I don’t have much to contribute on the golf portion, however I heard wonderful things! Our room was beyond wonderful. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well manicured. Food, drinks, canapés were delicious. We dined at a couple restaurants and then gathered in the lounge area after with the fireplace going enjoying some after dinner drinks. Enjoyed a wonderful massage in the spa. The staff here was extremely accommodating and greeted you by name. I would definitely return here!

Possibly the best resort service EVER! Certainly for a property this size. The consistency was very, very impressive. Stayed two nights as a surprise for my husband's 60th. Our reservation agent Ruwayda organised a room upgrade and many other special touches - we can't thank her enough for her exceptional service and attention to detail. We had booked a tee time on the Links course for Sunday, November 21 as it wasn't available on Monday, his actual birthday. In hindsight, we were incredibly lucky - they finished the 18th as the drizzle turned to rain and it didn't stop for almost 36 hours. The staff of the hotel worked through Monday to clear the water and clean up the flood damage to get La Cantina open for dinner. The team provided such a memorable birthday dinner for my husband and our friends - they had decorated the area around our table and everything from the chilled bottle of MCC waiting for us, to the outstanding service and food and of course the amazing South African Happy Birthday song, was absolutely perfect! Thanks to each and everyone of you for making his 60th so special. We had booked to play Montague on Monday but Mother Nature had other plans and unfortunately the gym was unavailable as well due to the water. Considering the colossal and unforeseeable weather, the entire Fancourt team did an outstanding job accommodating us and the many...
