Our stay at Fynbos Ridge Country House & Cottages was truly a dream on earth. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The service was exceptional, attentive, and always personal.||A special thank you goes to the wonderful hosts, Liz and Brian, whose warmth and dedication make this place so unique. The entire staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating.||The property itself is beautifully maintained, surrounded by stunning nature, and designed with great attention to detail. What a little gem, an Oasis along a short red dirt road. Liz and Brian along with a small staff team are wonderful hosts. Our cottage was beautifully furnished with a "full" kitchen two huge bedrooms with either shower or bath, a lovely dining/lounge and a large patio with a BBQ and fabulous views over the mountains. A short garden path leads to a gorgeous "infinity style" swimming pool and raised decking area with the same views over the wooded valley. We chose the breakfast option which again proved a real treat, the cooked option was great and presented to restaurant quality. A ten minute drive into Plett or twenty to Kysna, makes this Eco Friendly Guest House an excellent choice for families...

We stayed for two nights in April 2025 which coincided with our 15th wedding anniversary. Liz and Brian are fabulous hosts, and made a point of presenting us with two bottles of fizz!||We stayed in the Gazania Cottage which had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and very spacious. Some rooms had a slight smell of damp but nothing that wasn’t sorted by opening the windows.||We had our two children with us and they were also made to feel welcome and enjoyed interacting with their three friendly dogs!||Breakfast was excellent and while we were in the area we went to the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary and Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours - both...
