Green Pastures Guesthouse — Hotel in George

Very neat and clean. Booked the studio room and according to the details on the website this room is advertised as a "4 sleeper". The double bed is very comfortable but the sofa can basically accommodate one person (adult) or atleast 2 young children. I found that the advertisement is very misleading because they need to stipulate that it can house 2 adults and 2 kids and not 4 adults. The sofa was very uncomfortable. Make provision for a undercover braai area, it was also raining on this particular day and note that there is room for improvement to make ones stay more pleasant. What a great guest house this is. Really affordable, good clean room, fresh towels and bedding. The hostess Kittie was great, on hand if required, the rest of the stay, invisible 😊. Great braai area, beautiful lighting at night. We stayed in the family studio. Everything you would need is on hand in the tastefully appointed room. Will definitely recommend and stay there again. Also, use Lekkaslaap when booking. Seamless transaction, very helpful staff with reminders and follow up correspondence. All this added to a fantastic stay in...

Was ok...no staff or owners on site was abit strange....the reason i give 2 stars is because the Monday morning when i checked out,i was on my way to have breakfast ...that was 08:30 on my way to the breakfast area she was on her way to come and clean the room ?? And the breakfast area was locked ?? The lady said that the other lady (who it was i dont know) said that he is not having breakfast...i was so shocked ,because who said that ?? I asked if the was atleast coffee ? There was nothing...i just went to the room,took my stuff...
