Herolds Bay - Oupa se Pitte — Hotel in George

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, daughter and mother in law. The apartment was very cute and in an absolutely fabulous location. You couldn't get closer to the beach and felt almost like you were on it when the lounge doors were open. Good proximity to George and great little restaurant Dutton's Cove just up the road. Lovely walks too. The only negatives were that the beds were extremely hard and the house was damp. We did stay in winter and there was a huge amount of rain at the time, so that didn't help. This house has everything necessary for an excellent beach side holiday. The view is breathtakingly beautiful, and you are just a few steps away from the beach. You can easily go for a swim or walk or just sit in the comfort of the stoep or on one of the comfortable couches and have a drink and enjoy the view. ||The house is very clean, modern, practical and has everything necessary and 'Oupa se pitte' gets an extra star from me for having nice glasses and wine glasses and proper sharp knives! What a lovely, cozy place! From arrival we were treated warmly - although self catering, each unit was stocked with some coffee, milk, sugar and rusks for that first cup😊. Fully stocked with utensils, etc. The house has a "lived in" feel and the view from each unit was exceptional. Would recommend that the house as a whole is booked as the wooden floors make you aware of movement from each unit. Would absolutely...
