Hilltop Boutique Hotel — Hotel in George

Hilltop = TOP 👏

This place is an absolute gem 💎. I'm tempted to say: please don't tell anyone (so we have a room next time we visit ... but then I shouldn't be writing a Google review 😉)

But why? 🌄 THE VIEW. You are on top of a hill overlooking Wilderness Beach in the one side and the gentle hills and mountains in the background with paragliders enjoying the breeze. 🏞️🐦 THE NATURE. You're right in the middle of paradise. The garden looks like made by an architect (called nature). It's a beautiful balance between well maintained green and wild flowers and trees. Besides the different colourful bird species, we even had turtles and tortoises paying us a visit. 🛋️ THE ROOMS. Just everything you would expect in a hotel room: comfortable sheets, clean bathroom, beautiful terrace (with a hanging chair) and a large TV (we never used it)

🍳 THE BREAKFAST. The menu was not the biggest, but everything on offer was exceptional. Our favorites were the omelette and the breakfast wrap. Yummy!

👩‍💼 THE STAFF. Extraordinarily friendly, welcoming, always present when needed but not in an obnoxious way. They should go out in the world and teach other hotels how it's done. Just an absolute delight.

🏖️ THE SURROUNDINGS. There was a pristine 45 min walking trail right attached to the hotel with amazing views. Victoria Bay Beach, which is a gem for itself (and great for surfing 🌊) is only a 5 min drive away. The delicious restaurants and bars of Wilderness are only a 10 min drive from the hotel.

We even extended for an extra night (which we rarely do. And needless to say: WE'LL BE BACK 🥂

This was our first-time stay at Hilltop Boutique Hotel, but definitely not our last. From the moment the booking was confirmed until our departure from there, was just amazing. Christine, Shane and the team went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable - just the mere fact that they checked with us if we were sorted for dinner was a first for us. They even bought a Nespresso machine for the room when they found out that I am a lover of good coffee - that is going beyond the ask for excellent service. |Then the views, the garden and the atmosphere - did I mention the views - so amazing to wake up with the views of the beautiful manicured garden, where they have blended the natural plants with some other plants, and then the sea and parts of Wilderness - Gods beauty...

Hilltop Boutique Hotel 5/5

Hilltop Boutique Hotel is truly a slice of heaven! As the sign says, "Entrance to Eden" - and it's no exaggeration. From the moment you step in, you'll feel like you're in paradise.

The staff are top-notch, the food is incredible, and everything is so easy-going. We tried many dishes from their menu, and every one of them was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

If I could give a blind man 3 seconds of vision, I'd want him to see Hilltop. It's that special. Don't miss out on this gem - book your stay and taste the magic...
