Langenhoven B&B — Hotel in George

The entire accommodation needs a bit of renovation, maintenance and service. Our room was not clean at all. Still dust under the furnitures. Having a shower means the water runes somewhere out on the floor and we had to put some towels to dry afterwards. Some of the tails where broken. All together we did sleep and could shower ourself - but that’s it. The breakfast was simple but good and the Lady Owner tried her best to provide service. I would not stay there anymore as the price - quality ratio doesn’t fit at all. Sorry but disappointing for us 5 people staying there for 2 nights. The pool was green and could not been used by us - I expect better treatment and maintenance which I didn’t see at all. I will not talk about the barking dogs from the neighbors - not only 1 but 5-6 where on that property and barked almost the whole...

Bedside lamps not working when we got to room that night and sorted the plug problem out ourselves. Aircon without remote control in the room. Leaking shower that causes water in front of basin with slippery tiles. Vacate room Sunday morning and asked to lock up our baggage for collection Sunday afternoon as we depart by bus that afternoon. Upon arrival there was nobody there and no one could be reached as cell phones were on voice mail. Departed without baggage. Wondering where to stay when in that side of the world, this is an option. If you need a place to sleep and want a filling breakfast the next morning this is we're to go. I must say this place is nice and quiet. Friendly service, owner helps out and assist. This place adheres to covid regulations and that is great. We arrived late and were looking for a place to crash and found this b&b. The price for this experience is one I would say you should go for, what you get is money well spend. There is always space for improvement...
