Great value for money. We stayed at the Loerie Apartment, which is located in a secluded area of the property, overlooking the stunning forest. It is located just a short drive off the N2, and a mere 15 minute drive to Plettenberg Bay. The vistas and surroundings are beautiful, and you definitely feel connected to nature! There were so many different birds in the forest, it was amazing! The outdoor braai is located next to a stunning jasmine forest, it was breathtaking and smelt heavenly! We also got greeted by the friendly resident cat, Cindy!

Each bedroom has it's own en-suite shower and toilet. The downstairs bed is a little hard, but the beds upstairs were comfortable. There were extra blankets which was great. The gas stove and oven are a great alternative if you aren't able to braai, especially in rainy weather. Whilst there is no indoor fireplace, the gas heater was a welcome addition, as the night we arrived it started to rain. The only downside was that there was an Eskom power outage the first night we stayed, which resulted in some plugs and appliances not working, however there was a backup inverter in place to keep the essentials running. There was also no hot water the next morning after that, understandably so. The manager of the property kept in touch with us throughout and kept us updated which was nice. All in all, definitely a place to come visit if you want to reconnect with nature, and escape the hustle and bustle...

We loved it there,it's very peacefull.and quiet and had everything we needed, was lovely waking up with all that fresh air ,laying in bed listening to the birds and other animal sounds with our double doors wide open while looking outside at our very own section of paradise, rooms are equipped with everything ,our home away from home, and The Host and Hostess made us feel like part of their family and their lovely children,We didn't want to leave at all ,already planning ahead for our next visit, I Recommend Masescha Country Lodge and give it a 10 u won't regret it!Thank You for making us feel at home Cherie and Family. MUCH APPRECIATED,and a rest that was much...

This place is a "hidden jewel" Owners, Ray and Angie are the best, most hospitable hosts ever. After making 15 calls to other establishments, we just needed a sleep over for 1 night and no one was willing to help us... But along comes Ray and he accomodates our every wish.....he puts in a mattress for our 9 year old to sleep in our room. Wow, what a beautiful, serene place out in the wilderness.... A MUST SEE FOR EVERYONE. Many many thank you's for your wonderful...

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The accommodation was very comfy, and Ray and Angie were wonderful hosts, so friendly and the food was excellent. The surroundings are unreal, I could've happily spent days lounging around the pool, exploring the dams, listening to the birds and the monkeys... I would happily come here again.

Beautiful place to stay with well equipped rooms, clean water and surrounded by nature. My dog was able to relax and enjoy some grass. I used the laundry, breakfast and dinner services and I was very happy I did. Excellent place to stay, we stayed for a couple of nights. Friendly and welcoming hosts.
