Lind End Guest Farm — Hotel in Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality

Lovely place, bad experience with the manager

We stayed at Lind End Guest Farm 2 weeks ago. There has been very little communication from Johannes, their Manager, as he simply does not answer our calls or get back to us. The place is lovely and the cleaning staff as well. I would however not recommend this place simply because of the management.

We had a water outage, which can happen, but there was no communication regarding this. We had a power outage and again, he does not answer the phone so we don't know what is happening. We felt unsafe without the power and the electric fence may not working, as we were only women and children. He offered 1 night's complimentary stay, but seeing as we are from Johannesburg this doesn't make sense. I also don't trust him to stick to his word as we have not been able to get ahold of him since.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

The worst and most dangerous experiences of my life. I would recommend anyone to avoid this place at all cost.

The owner warned us that the road might be a slight issue and we should call if we get stuck. On the way in, driving a Toyota Fortuner, we got to t stuck several times. The owner didn't respond to phone calls and only came back to us hours later. It took hours to get back out on multiple attempts.

The owner showed absolutely no care whatsoever and seems like intent in scamming people out of their money.

There are far better and more reliable options...
