Moya Manzi Beach House — Hotel in Kouga Local Municipality

New owners at Moya Manzi and thankfully our return visit was just as enjoyable as the first. We loved this guest house two years ago and nothing has changed or missed a beat upon return. We stayed once again in room #2 (Kingfisher suite) with its very comfortable king bed and beautiful view. Everything is great, the air conditioning works well, the ceiling fan provides extra air circulation in the room and both operate quietly. The breakfast is excellent with warm croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and cooked to order eggs. Let us not forget the awesome cappuccinos that the new owner Rory makes for guests. Always on hand, Rory is a wealth of information. Incredibly friendly, insightful and a pleasure to linger a little longer than normal over breakfast to chat with. One of THE best places we ever stayed!||What a superb beach house is this! We were blown away by its amazing location, in the dunes with a wonderful view of Paradise beach right in front of you. A really peaceful and quiet location.||It's a very airy and beautifully designed house. Our room was hyper clean, very spacious, super comfortable, cosy and with a lovely view and balcony.||The swimmingpool is superbly sited. Great to step out of your room, into the pool, into the dunes, into the sea...||The service is as perfect as the house. A very relaxed and hospitable welcome awaits you. The atmosphere is really chilled, you feel easily at home. They provide a fully stocked fridge in the kitchen (honesty bar system). They help you choose the best lunch/dinner options. Stayed for a week in January but unfortunately owners were away and was being run by a stand in manager (a young girl). We had no idea of what we could use or not and had to keep asking. The pool was covered and the plunge pool was constantly covered. The tv in my room would not work but I managed to fix it myself! The tv in the lounge did not work and was not schedule to for another week! The pool water level was low and the cleaner did not appear to work. We had to ask for sun shades which were subject to wind so were only put out when we asked. The pool deck needs exposed screws removed or repaired.
