Mini Villas Blythedale Beach — Hotel in KwaDukuza Local Municipality

Major ant problem. had to clean and sweep constantly. my 5 year old could not even play on the floor due to ants and greasy tiles. Bathroom for 6 people was so outdated still shower curtains used and water flooded bathroom floors. Furnishings are from the 80s. TV is so small you nearly have to squint. no direct beach access. have to cross over road. beach is dirty and accommodation is next to the public parking which is noisy and dirty. The lounge is so small only 4 people could fit in it but it was a 6 person unit. The dining room could also fit 4 and with much difficulty we squeezed in 6. ||we had to sit outside mostly due to size of living areas.||we spent 12 hours to 48 hours out of the accommodation and had to find alternative accommodation however due to cancellation policy we were not released. The owners didnt didn't care that our holiday was ruined. they must put all pictures on the website so people will know what poor quality they paying for. this is a R500 per night accommodation regardless of season. even in peak it should not exceed R1000 per night.||There was also non disclosure of a municipal beach festival being held on 26 and 27 December which meant we had to leave early morning on 26th and came back late on 27th night to avoid noise, traffic and getting stuck in the accommodation. heavy police presence etc we don't go on holiday to be in...

We had the displeasure of dealing with Jenni at this accommodation, to which we will never return. The location is lovely. The rooms are outdated. The place is overpriced. You do not get any form of complimentary soap, towels, dish washing liquid. They tell you to bring towels which we did but thats it, no soap. We were surprised we got toilet paper but it was in a locked public toilet holder. You will shower in a bath with a shower curtain, which is a pain. The cleaners are lovely. Ants everywhere. Owner makes you feel like she's doing you a favour. No one will help you check out or in if it is outside if their trading hours, which are ridiculous for a self catering accommodation spot. We came at 8 34am, Jenni would not help us 26min prior to us leaving just because. She was there as per her helpers telling us. But pure stubbornness took over and she would not help.
