Carrington Guest House — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

Disappointing Stay at Carrington Guest House I recently visited the Carrington Guest House with three others, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The online advertising is misleading, featuring outdated photos from when the business first opened. Our stay was marred by: Extremely worn-out beds that sink when sat or slept on Moldy toilet interior Filthy shower conditions,Floors Severely cracked,Damaged and Covered with dirty carpets, attempting to conceal the issues Emitted a strong, unpleasant odor

When we brought our concerns to the staff, we were met with: A lack of empathy No effort to resolve the issues or offer a satisfactory solution Our 3-day booking turned into a 2-night stay due to the deplorable state of the guest house. The wooden floors were: The combination of unacceptable living conditions and poor customer service led to our decision to cut our stay short. These issues significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and updates their facilities to match their online...

Rented the big house. honestly if you can find an other place, do so. Roaches in the bathroom. The whole house smells dusty and unkept (even though we booked a month ahead of arriving). Dusty beds, fan, tables everywhere. No one bordered to clean and the proof was used condom wraps and boxes in the main bedroom lamp table drawer. Blankets old and stained, smell like a thousand ppl slept on it and dust clung to it. I coughed the whole night I got there, had to take a wet cloth and wipe down the room on the 1st day before I slept. No complementary water. Pots dirty. Oven dirty. It has potential but need alot of maintenance work plus fresh new sheets (you can see obvious stains and I wonder wat else if one brings a black light) and it needs...

The service was very terrible, we had called in to check in a bit earlier and we were told that there no extra charges, as soon as we had arrived we had to purchase R800 extra so be able to get in. When we all decided that we wanted to cancel our booking we were told that we wouldn't receive our payment back without finding people to replace us. Their quotation, and website doesn't explain much information , their staff don't give guest the right information.
