Millstream Inn — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

I don't even know where to start, this place is rated 4*? The place is just horrible, the rooms are dirty the bathroom looks more like it's in a process of being renovated. They keep used face cloth in the room, what happens to hygiene? We put used towel on the floor so that they can be changed but to our surprise the towels were still lying on the floor upon our arrival even after they have cleaned the room. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon upon realising that the window didn't have a handle I called the owner Danie, he arrived in our room wearing only underwear and a t-shirt he appeared drunk as well. How do you go to clients like that? Mind you I was with my wife at the time. The place doesn't have a parking space, I just wonder how they even consider to open a guest house but treat their clients differently? There was a car that parked by the entrance to the room, I enquired with the guest house owner to ask the person to remove the car so that I can be able to drive throu to get our laggage, but I felt that some of his customers are more important to the others. He told me to drive to the other side, of which was impossible to drive the trees where scratching my car and I decided that I will just leave the car there and get our luggage since the room was not near where we parked our vehicle. The cottage was spacious and clean. And the farm well kept and beautiful. The bath with the jets doesn't work which was disappointing to the entire family. They phone you at 9:30 to ensure you are out at 10 which I felt was a bit uncalled for. However they allowed us to stay longer than 10 resting around the dam which we really appreciated. Host went out of his was to to ensure we had enough light during loadshedding with his inverter and lamps. The farm setting is beautiful. The beds comfortable. The cottage was clean. What a Amazing place to stay! Well done to Danie and everyone, it's not often that you arrive and stay at a Geusthouse that's exactly what they say they are and so much more! Highly recommend Millstream Inn Geusthouse, rooms are immaculate ,service is over and beyond and most of all the tranquility and peacefulness is out of this World! Will definitely see a lot more of Millstream Inn! Well done...
