President Guest Lodge — Hotel in Makhado Local Municipality

My experience was very humiliating. We liked what we saw, grey & white rooms with pool....

We requested two rooms for me & my partner sharing & for our three girls. We were very specific that the room that the girls share should have a double bed & a single bed. When we arrived we were given two rooms with double beds only & the guy who was in charge said the lady who was helping us did not inform him about our request. We settled for that because we were exhausted from traveling from North West Province to Limpopo province. Our girls slept uncomfortably. In the morning there was no water to bath🥺 We had to make means elsewhere just to freshen up & go to the unveiling.

The second day when we arrived from our relatives. The guy now moved us to the other rooms, the girls room now had two double beds & we were happy that they will sleep comfortably. We went out to have dinner take outs & went back to the rooms... Our bed was so dirty with red lipstick 💄 on the pillows, the towels & sheet dirty... My small daughter came to us & said "our bed has juice on it!!" 😱 Both beds their sheets were so dirty with yellow-like juice but it was not juice on the sheets. I didn't know what to say to my 9 year old daughter. The humiliation, guys no!!

My partner called that guy & he then called the lady who was supposed to have cleaned the rooms but she said to him she was in a hurry to leave hence the rooms are in that state... Imagine!! Incompetence- she then told him where to get clean sheets but then the guy expected us "the guests" to make up the beds... I told him that it will never happen & he must call the lady to come & do it, he said she's not around but he had to do it himself. We were so exhausted & very disappointed big time. He never apologised for that.

This morning we managed to bath, by the time we were now taking our luggage to the car there were two ladies who were very rude towards us, giving us looks. No one has addressed the issue with us or said sorry about our experience. They were busy with laundry. Our stay at that place was not nice at all. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to go...

Zero stars. I just phoned to make a booking for family. A person with no ability to even manage phone calls answered the phone, with no manners. I asked if he was the manager and he said no only a worker. To my knowledge all workers has a field, and he doesn't even know hes line of work. He was very rude and couldn't help me with the booking. He couldn't even refer me to someone else. I am also in the hospitality, and its a shame to loose guests due to poor management. Hopefully in the future we can try...

I stayed here for a month, the place was great. The stuff was friendly. My room was clean all day.

We have 4 fast food places, spar at the back, it a car friendly place & also if you traveling with public transport it's also a go to place.

The bus station is just a street away. 👀 I love the manager she made my stay comfortable, and the admin girls. 💭 Why I think Lous I think President Guest house.
