Kamoka Camp is a real gem in the middle of the bush. This is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge, while learning about the non-profit organization next door, DAKTARI. We were given a tour of DAKTARI and understood the importance of environmental education to underprivileged children from the neighbouring communities. We were given the opportunity to discover wonderful stories about the work they do and how everything started. Camilla, our host, was very attentive and made sure our stay was unforgettable. We were greeted by giraffes drinking in the dam facing our tiny house, and spent evening hearing bufffaloes going for a drink. Read moreWe had a really wonderful time at Camillas Kamoka Camp in July 2024. The bright and lovely new lodge is best suited for spending an exciting and also relaxing time. It faces a great view of a little pond where we were lucky watching some impalas drinking in the early morning. once in the late afternoon we spotted a group of buffaloes. Its also a great location for starting exciting game drives in big five reserves in the direct neighbourhood. The comfortable veranda with braai possibility is a wonderful chilling place. Read moreThe place is juste beautiful! The bed is super comfortable and romantic withe a big windows with a direct view of the Dam with wild animals coming to drink. We felt immersed in nature while having a great confort of a bed, nice bathroom, a full equipped kitchen and a nice terrace with a BBQ all while feeling safe. Camilla welcomed us and make a us discover her world and the heart of South Africa with wonder. We also have learned a lot by visiting her close liked wilde life education association, Daktari, that lies a few hundreds of meters away.
