The main issue was when we were unceremoniously told on the first night that we'd have to pack our bags after the second night as they were fully booked and had a weekend Christian retreat booked in. This was even though we had pre-booked and pre-paid for six nights here. There were also some health and safety issues where we were asked to take our luggages at 4.50am in the dark to front reception - not sure why the Camp staff couldn't have done this? ||Management didn't have a clue what was going on and only one manager was available as apparently the guides had all quit. The schedule which we had from Secret Escapes was not followed at all and we were not provided the morning game drive and the afternoon game drive with the evening bush braai. ||We were taken to their self-catering sister camp, Ya Mati where several issues occurred (room which was in the shade all day so we got no sun unless we were in the bathroom area; flies in the kitchen; washing up our dinner plates when when we had paid for full board; place closing up at 4pm everyday; being the only guests in the place when all other guests were transferred back to Moholoholo Forest Camp; very poor communication all round).||What should have been a great holiday, ended up being very, very disappointing and not as advertised (false advertising by...

The reserve also has many other animals such as Giraffe , Zebras, Maribu Storks, Vultures, many other species of birds and lots of butterflies.|We spotted many of these on the guided tours they provide with you stay and around the lodge.|Hiro and Marcus really did make our trip as they also were there at most mealtimes assisting with the service which again was excellent. The food that was prepared was very nice and plentiful. The lodges are really nice, large comfortable beds with both baths and showered and facilities to make drinks. The terraces of the lodges are set to take in the beautiful forest and all the birds and animals.|I can’t recommend this place enough, the staff and the animals truly make this a wonderful experience.|The reserve also has an animal rehabilitation centre which is definitely worth a visit, the work they do is excellent and there are many wonderful animals to see including big cats!|Brian and Sarah,...
