Accommodation Hazyview Country Cottages — Hotel in Mbombela

A rather belated review! We loved our two night stay at Hazyview Cottages in June 2023. The cottages are situated down a bumpy dirt track off the main road. This means that there is no traffic noise at the cottages, which are surrounded by peaceful bush-land. We relaxed totally, except when we had to go to the supermarket, a short distance along the main road, which was a bustling, noisy place, though it had everything you could possibly want to buy. All the staff at the cottages were courteous and helpful. Even when making the booking, they were brilliant with my dithering – I had to change the dates of the stay a couple of times. Because it was so confusing, I decided to ring them and they were totally laid back and reassuring.] We arrived about 10am, but were allowed to move into our cottage immediately even though check-in was not until 2pm. We had a whole cottage comprising bedroom, bathroom and open plan lounge/kitchen/dining with a garden and patio with table and chairs. The cottage was well equipped and very interestingly designed, quite novel and very comfortable. Brilliant value for 37 Australian dollars per night. Thank you to Hazyview...

We were staying there over Easter weekend,and what a disappointment..besides for the fact that we were just sleeping there (because we did sight seeing most of the time)it was horrible.pool was dirty,kids refused to swim,the cottage itself was so dirty although they did the cleaning everyday you couldn’t even see the difference!!when we got there they even got our cottages mixed up,so me and my family had to sleep in the barn??oh my...both the doors couldn’t lock??and the smell??it was just bad bad!!the security guard had to do the maintenance of the place,and when we complained the lady just said sorry?oh and she couldn’t even properly check our booking either,because the WiFi was off..it was forever off!it was such a dissapointed stay!they need to fix that place because it’s a health risk to stay there.and before I forget,frogs and spiders and all kinds of insects were waiting for you when you go to bed!!my Gosh!!never...

it was wonderful and so affordable. i was blown away when we got this great self catering house for the excellent price we paid in the middle of the june holidays . we booked for 6 but It was big enough for 8. rooms were clean and neat. the self catering had a fridge stove microwave kettle and dishes. the little house had a private splash pool. it was 10 lm from the Kruger gstes. the stuff were super helpful and friendly. we came in late after 8pm. the staff Vicinity ans moses where wonderful. and they greeted us with a smile at...
