Kiaat Bungalows & Caravan Park — Hotel in Mbombela

We had a lovely one night stay at Kiaat bungalows in one of the rondavel properties.||Our greeting from the owner was warm and friendly and thorough.||The kitchen and dining area is open to the outside although behind the protection of fly screens and gave an authentic safari type property feel.||The bedroom had AC and a tv which wouldnt' normally be important but the rugby was on....||The toilet and shower room was lovely and clean and although the shower didnt look up to much it was actually really powerful and refreshing after a dusty day in Kruger.||The surrounding area is quite pretty although there is a warning not to go wandering outside the fence due to Hippo!||G's bistro is nearby and we got directions from the owner, they serve great food and beer and are only 5 minutes away by car.||We would love to stay again if we are in the area and would highly...

I stayed there for 5 nights in one of the rondavels and i liked it very much. The place has a lot of space, is quiet and is set in a very nice, well-tended and large garden. The room and facilities (outside kitchen and veranda, WC, shower) are well equipped, although a little bit old-fashioned. The rondavel was very clean and was serviced daily. The place is located only a few kilometers from Phabeni Gate to Kruger Park and some supermarkets and filling stations as well as restaurants are closeby. Even though we're only half way through our stay, I feel the need to thank Irma and Peggy for making it so memorable. Kiaat bungalows is an absolute Oasis. The bungalows have everything you could possibly need to make yourselves comfortable, and the garden is full of the sound of birds from sunrise to sunset. The frogs from the nearby dam also join in to serenade you through the night. Mother Nature at her best. The sparkling swimming pool was an absolute joy in temperatures ranging close to 32 degrees.
