The manager was very rude, overall poor customer service. WOULD NOT GO BACK. My family and I were sent back after being a just few minutes late. Our reserved spot was given to another group of people and we were not informed of the situation. We were denied entrance and told to go back home. Unpleasant experience…
Response to the “owner”: From the way that you responded to this review I can tell that you are not a qualified "manager". From Your attitude and lack of manners when you speak to a customer can reference that you don't come from a civilized background. If it were a "scam" you wouldn’t have agreed for us to come and make arrangements for us and make yourself go against your policy that didn't allow you to receive us as customers to eat at the restaurant and use your pool. In other words you were willing to commit corruption. Us as the "customers" did not force you to, in your words," make an exception " because I know for sure you are not getting or maintaining customers with your poor customer service.FYI, I have been there before and the first time the customer service was valid and good but this time it contrasts my first experience . It may be that the “ manager” was not part or present in the staff that time. For your future customers, if you have any, learn some manners and learn how to treat and speak to customers. It is in your best Interest to respond to this review carefully and politely....
Read moreIt took an hour to get a pot of tea. People don’t write down orders and therefore mess them up. We had to ask for water, and after they told us we were allowed 1 bottle 330ml each. They didn’t allow outside food and therefore didn’t provide cutlery in the rooms. That would be okay, if at least they didn’t serve raw omelettes.
These are all problems where their owners need to train and help their staff.
The managers and all the staff were very nice, kind and attempted to correct things.
The problem I feel is they do not have guidance, the owners need to help with customer experience.
Given by the way you responded, it is clear, you have no intentions of improving or care about your customers. Also we would have had no problem eating there if your food was fresh, and not pre-made, if you knew how to make an omelette and didn't serve 5 day old pastries. We also wouldn't have complained the 1 time did about the wine if you had more than one wine available.
PS. If the rule was one pot of tea person, you should have told us, or charged us for it. Also if you were so stingy about water, charge us for it LOL.

Read moreThis is a little gem of a place. Firstly the rooms are massive! There is a large King size bed with beautiful furniture, a couch, a smart tv with sufficient channels to watch, a little kitchenette with a fridge, sink and tea/coffee station. There's a nice little cupboard with a safe and some extra blankets. The toilet and bathroom was also big and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and neat. There are only 9 units in the lodge so it is quiet and peaceful. The reception and dining areas were beautiful and neat. The breakfast was also very good. We unfortunately did not do the dinner but it sounded amazing. The staff were amazing, always so friendly and on-the-ball. The owner/manager was also very friendly and helpful and gave us some great advice for our sight-seeing and travels. The pool area was also very nice and peaceful and clean. A bonfire was lit in the evenings and it was the perfect end to our day - great fire, some hot chocolate and we were lucky enough to have another couple join us for some good conversation and sharing of our trip highlights.
