We stayed in a ‘superior room’ which is an individual lodge. The lodge is set apart on its own so you have total privacy, it is big, lots of room, with a huge bed. Big shower and sink area, plus additional outside shower. Good storage for clothes. There is also a patio area. We had no complaints about the accommodation, it’s really good.|Muluwa lodge itself, the landscape, the main building, everything is perfect. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, the atmosphere is great. The staff were all lovely.|Impala roam freely and we sat watching them with a glass of wine, it felt like another world.|They have a BBQ night on Wednesday and the food was phenomenal.|There is a set menu for food each night, and the food was beautiful, a really high standard.|It’s about 45 minutes from Kruger Park entrance, and also a reasonable distance for Panorama tour.|We needed some laundry doing at short notice and they did this for a small fee, the clothes came back clean and in very quick time - excellent service.|A tip for others, there isn’t a shop as such with bottles of water and snacks, so it’s worth bringing a few bits if you think you will get hungry when on tours. They do put two bottles of water in your room each day (which is great) but to stay hydrated it’s worth having extra as the safari are long days.|They provide a breakfast bag for the days you leave very early for safari, and the bag was well equipped with lots of tasty bits. (Just be sure not to leave it in the vehicle when on safari at any point, as monkeys will take it!)|For me, this can only be a five star review as we absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to experience rural South Africa and the perfect base for Kruger Park. I’d recommend it to everyone. Thank you...

It's a cool lodge away from the city life

Stuff: It was stunning to get friendly stuff members. I had arrived late for check-in and I was happy that they didn't give me attitude They still gave me proper treatment

Food: The food was stuff they have variety, at first I thought because breakfast and supper are inclusive it wouldn't taste nice, I was wrong, the food was lovely and different 😋

Rooms: the tent area gave the luxury tent style and its private. What I love the most is that they cleaned our rooms while we were away and came back tired but with a fresh clean room

Activities Picnic: I think this is the best activity they offer, it's worth every penny, it's more like a game drive with the same experience of seeing animals and driving to the top of the mountain, I'd recommend the sunset 🌇 it gives the best view

Spa: It's very offodable, however there was just a lot of confusion in regards to the booking and one if the therapist didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. And they didn't have changing rooms and the ropes

Pool: the pool area is one of the coolest amenities they have, it's best to swim at night the water is very warm 😅

Security: the place has a tight security and made us feel secured on the visit They follow covid protocol rules

The overall experience was fun, location is a bit close to everything Major tourist attractions are 1 hour way...

This is one amazing place, we have been in the luxury tent and no words can describe the experience. The tent has everything you need including air con which we found is really needed. The property is amazing with game roaming around. The staff is absolutely wonderful and service is impeccable. The two hosts Thelma and Adrie are just two amazing ladies, they honestly made us feel at home.... literally. The rest of the staff from the bar men to the waiters and not to mention Chef Michael are just amazing. The food is top class from a top class chef, every dish is just amazing and we found no faults. Overall experience was 10 out of 10 and we will definitely be back. With that said, I would just like to suggest that they play soft background music at dinner time so it’s not so quiet where everyone can hear your conversation. Also they should just make people aware that there is no lunch available at all, the place is not so close to shops and restaurants, if they could just have some cold options if you wanted to eat something. Overall, a must do experience and not only will I be back because I just love the place but the people really make it for me. Thanks and hope you got the information you need to make this place your home away...

Ahhh I cannot stop raving about this place to anyone who will listen!!! Beautiful, serene grounds. The king suit is somehow simple yet luxurious and the privacy is on point (you can use the outdoor shower without fear of being seen, besides by a nyala or monkey maybe haha). Beautiful morning views on your balcony, have your morning coffee while watching nyalas graze straight from your bed. Enjoy the stillness and sounds of nature in the evening. The staff are INCREDIBLE!!! Each and every single one of them are friendly, responsive and superbly helpful. Get ready to spend on tips because they deserve every Rand you can give and more! They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Don't get me started on the food! Each meal feels like a tannie with lots of love made it. Absolutely delicious, but even more comforting. There are also lots of options, the danger at this place is stuffing yourself far too much! Your visit cannot go wrong here. I HIGHLY recommend this place, I will be visiting again soon!

Muluwa Lodge my dear?! Thank you! On arrival we were welcomed by an amazing lady Antoinette friendly and informative. Loved how they guided us to our tent. Went for dinner the first night and we enjoyed the three course meal. The starter buns? Ahaa scremdelicious! Lebo served us well and 10/10 to him. Had a game drive in the morning, they made sure they packed us breakfast packs and there was more than enough food inside. Thank you. What else?... Ohh game drive? 1000/10! Douglas took us to Kruger and what an amazing tour guide! Friendly and informative. Thank you Douglas! Writing this review on their king sized bed with white crisp bedding. We appreciated the electric blanket and the extra blanket as it gets superrrr cold in here. Thank you for the clean tent and all! Went for boma dinner under the stars, what an amazing first time experience. Can't fault this place at all! The showers ? Hot water always. Looking for a sign if you should book Muluwa? This is it!

The views from our luxury suite at Muluwa Lodge were amazing, and seeing giraffes and impalas right when we got there was super cool. Our room and bed were big and comfy, and the whole place is just beautiful. The food? Absolutely amazing. However, the plunge pool in our suite has definitely seen better days. Stick to wine because the cocktails aren’t great. Also, the vibes from some of the staff were a bit off-putting, like “Get Out” vibes, iykyk. And there was a mix-up with our couples massage; we booked it weeks ahead, but they only had one masseuse available and didn’t tell us, so we cut our Panorama route tour short to go back to an non-existent appointment. They also need to step up their game with basic info like when breakfast starts and ends. Love the setting and the meals, but they really need to work on their service and communication.
