Oasis Hotel — Hotel in Mogalakwena Local Municipality

This was an extremely disappointing place to stay. At night this place is plagued by drug addicts and prostitutes outside. The restaurant has no waiters at all and me and my colleague had to actually walk around and search for someone to assist us. When eventually we found someone, the person too us right into the kitchen and there was someone who took our orders. I ordered a rump steak, but received a very poor quality tenderised steak instead. The food was very badly prepared and the personnel very poorly trained and unhelpful. At least the rooms were neat and clean to an acceptable standard. ||||I booked out after the first night and booked into The Park...

The rooms are okay, spacious and comfortable, but minor maintenance is needed.... Not the best I've ever experienced and not the worst either.

The breakfast was terrible.... The food is tasteless, no salt available on the tables. The personnel always have to go and search for it. The aromat is kept in a plastic container, not an aromat container. The bread is kept in the plastic bags..... When they serve breakfast in polistiren take-aways containers, you know the standard is very low...this is the norm here. If you want toast, you have to hold the button of the toaster down....it doesn't work.....

The rooms are not bad, I will definitely not recommend...

After driving more than 10 hours, we needed some sleep. A petrol attendant recommended Oasis.||They allowed us to first view the rooms. It was neat, clean and welcoming with plenty hot water. Being tired we paid and had a good nights sleep. The parking is secure and gated, a necessity as our vehicle was packed with camping goods. Check in was quick and seamless. The gentlemen said we could get the Invoice in the morning. On check out we paid (again) and left. A little later they phoned to say we had paid twice and promptly refunded the money. So not only were they efficient they were honest...
