If you enjoy dark rooms, and mediocre service.. this place will be perfect for you.. oh, by the way, they say they have DSTV and Smart Tv's - not true, not all rooms have the smart tv's and if you are lucky to get such a room, no DSTV channels for you, since you have to login to your account- and inconvenience your family back home. I wouldn't recommend it AT ALL .. I guess it's fine if you're passing through, but I had to endure 5 nights of the same meal every night because their chef or cook rather, lacks skills of catering for a simple Veg and Protein diet.. so, I had the same over cooked steak and vegetables every single night. 1st night, my bed wasn't even made properly, they just threw the duvet over the untidy sheet and never once changed my bedding. The establishment looks good from outside, waited at reception for almost 30 minutes to check in, only 3 TV channels worked, there was a heater that does not work, no bin, chair and kettle in my room, made receptionist aware of it, she said she'll bring them. Four hours later, no chair and kettle, tried to go to reception to ask once again about kettle and chair, the door wouldn't unlock, I had to get out of the room through the window, I was told the key was broken and a new key was given to me. This has been my worst say in Ermelo.. The room had a very strong smell. Upon arrival, I had to leave the windows and door open. I had no TV remote even after asking the receptionist. She said she could not find it. The shower water runs very slow. I was placed in room 112, where the generator is. The power cut 5 times in my 2 day say. What topped all this off was one of the cleaners unlocking my door and just walking into my room at 7h45 in the morning. I was there on business working until 2am in the morning in our data center close by and needed rest to take on the next nights work. The staff has no compassion, not friendly at all.
