Heroes Garden Lodge — Hotel in Msunduzi Local Municipality

This is a total dump. I booked for 2days ended up leaving 10mins after my arrival. The buildings are dilapidated, very poor ambience and the facilities are of a very low standard and didn't look anything like the advertised pictures. ||||When I arrived spent 15mins outside the gate as nobody attended to me despite continuously ringing the intercom bell.I eventually walked in on foot after another car exited (had to rush before the gate closed). After spending some time trying to find the receptionist I was eventually helped and shown to my room on an adjacent property that was in an extreme state of disrepair and not I place I was willingly to spend my vacation at. I left this establishment 10mins after I was shown my room and booked alternative...

The staff was very rude - they made snide remarks (called us annoying customers in that process just because we alerted them about the gate not being open enough for us to be able to drive into the yard), there was no room orientation (no wifi password was shared and nobody welcomed us to the place), they had no shower caps even though their bathroom only has a shower, throughout the stay they kept talking loudly with each other even on the corridors which made sleeping very difficult, even in the morning we woke up to their noise. The room had a lot of creepy-crawlies - the location was great as it was close the hospital that I had an appointment at but, I'm never ever booking at HeroesBnB ever again and I wouldn't advise anyone to...

If you like peace and quiet after a hard days work then this place is not for you. If you like a place that at least has basic cutlery in the room, then this place is not for you. If you like a place where they remember your breakfast in the morning then this place is not for you.

General maintenance is way behind. 05:00 am music/radios playing.

Only positive is the location. Excellent neighbourhood and central.
