I had a delicious steak - but pity that I had a long waiting period & poor customer service.
I visited for lunch with my partner. We were delighted by the service in the past & assumed it would be a regular dining experience.
The service was below average & both meals were incorrectly prepared.
We arrived at around 2:00pm & were instantly granted a table. The restaurant was less than half full yet we waited for 20 minutes before a waiter arrived with menu's.
My partner ordered Nacho's & told the waiter to exclude guacamole & tomatoes, I had ordered a steak meal & requested the steak to be medium rare.
About 40 minutes later our food finally arrived but sadly upon inspection the Nachos had guacamole & tomatoes in it. My steak was well done & not medium rare as requested. The waiter was flagged down after much effort & the situation was explained, I was left speechless when the waiter told me that my steak was medium rare. The steak had absolutely no visible red or pinkness to indicate this but rather a dark charred color.
We waited another 40 minutes for the correct order to arrive. After completing our meal we had requested the bill & it was provided. The sad news was that the waiter never returned to collect the bill or accept payment from us. We proceeded to the main door & paid for our meal.
Overall the food experience was underwhelming but when the correct order arrived it was delicious.
I would not like to visit again & would recommend that service levels need to be increased. I would strongly suggest that attention to detail is looked at in a broader aspect.

When one tips please ask your staff to say THANK YOU. It is civilized to do so! Previous years staff worked only for tips and no salaries. So show gratitude!!

Staff come and go, and they there for tips and money and a bluff bluff show.
Its for the owners to constantly watch take heed and be attentive and this is very difficult!
I forgot to mention that I asked the waiter if the sirloin was soft and he said yes. I dont even think he knows. .....which is the norm!
The waiters in previous years had to learn the menu and the different foods write an exam before they were even considered for employment and that being only temporary! Getting a job in Spurs. How do I know this.? My kids worked there.
Anyway before I write a book on about the needs of his "Majesty the customer" may I just add. last but not least !

Read moreWell, the location is amazing. Okay, honestly I don't maybe it was the day. It wasn't packed and the service was good. The music that is softly playing on their speakers wasn't bothersome. I even managed to hum along familiar songs when my table got quiet... So I had a good time. :)
(I should stop writing reviews in advance. Well, I had to drop a star because the waitor made a mistake of ASSUMING that he shoulf wait for me to finish the first thing I ordered BEFORE bringing the second thing I ordered. I really wanted to eat them together but unfortunately I can't anymore... I am forced to carry my second thing home because the entire table is done and I can't force these people to wait for me 😩)
