We decided to spend the night at Kwelanga on our roadtrip from Windhoek to Cape Town. Tired from driving over 800 km in a day, we were pleased to find the location of the lodge to be so close to the border post and the highway - it really is conveniently located.
The lodge has a stunning location overlooking the Orange River. We spent sometime on the riverbank admiring the views and were told that the lodge also offers river activities for those who are keen. To our luck, that night was the blue super moon so watching the full moon over the river while sipping on some drinks was really so magical.

However, the best part of our stay was meeting Cathy; she really is a very warm and welcoming host who gives her guests personalised attention. Not only did she make our stay a breeze (even being accommodating of our payment method!) but also gave us recommendations for the remaining leg of our drive to Cape Town.
Thank you! My family and I will be recommending you to anyone we know...
