Read moreSooo we stayed in the tent rooms, when we arrived at the reception in the tuck shop the receptionist immediately asked us for the R400 breakage and key fee for each tent( we had 2) nobody informed us when we made the bookings. We only found that out when we arrived. She did not inform the times of the tuck shop, restaurant, activities- nothing only the fee Thankfully we had cash, because other wise we would've waited a week to get it back.. what if we only had R800 for snack and food for the two days that we stayed and nothing extra ( would've she told us we can't access the tent before the fee, even if the tents are already paid for-R500 each per night). The quad bikes was the best we enjoyed it especially to be next to the giraffes. The resort manager was the best she was Soo friendly and helpful we love her. When we wanted to give in the keys after the 2days we asked the receptionist for the R800 and she was so rude. She grabbed her cellphone and called one of the workers to inspect the tents( there's only two beds and a fan with a bed stand in). It felt as if she wanted us to forget about the fee. I definitely would recommend the quad bikes but...
Read moreEven though we didn't stay here we did however spend most of our time on this plot than at fly fishing paradise which is owned by the same person. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alet who is the sweetest and took time to show us around. The rooms where a bit more modern but all had hot tubs at them and a really big pool with water slides for the kids to play in. The resturant and bar were the highlight and the food as I've stated before was absolutely amazing and deffinatly recomend everyone stop by there when visiting. This was the best place for fishing and was very relaxing. They also privide camping tents with bathrooms in them, the shop is on premise as well where you can find anything from snacks to slurpies to fishing stuff. We spent all three days by the river and even took their game drive which was very exciting. The next time I'm deffinatly going to be staying here and i highly recommend to anyone with kids or anyone who enjoys fishing. All the staff were very sweet and friendly they even delivered anything we needed to our room which saved us some trips. Be sure to check this place out on your next fishing and...
