My sister and I stayed in Sophie's apartment overlooking the Crocodile River. Very comfortable with all your basic needs for self catering. Ideal for a couple. The view is breathtaking. We had numerous game sightings, such as elephant, waterbuck, hippo, impala, kudu, warthog...the list continues. The bird life is also prolific..good idea to have a bird app or book with. There is a lovely braai on the edge of the garden and one evening we cooked with a male waterbuck peacefully resting right next to us. Sunsets and sunrises are awesome.    Read moreWe had a wonderful family stay at Hennie's in March. My older folks downstairs in apartment Sophie and us 5 upstairs in Hennie's. What a stunning location, the website does not do it justice. Lovely to have the entire place to ourselves. Magical, right on the river. Incredible views from the beautiful deck, there was really no need to leave. Beautiful views from both braai options. If you are able, no problem but just something to keep in mind with older folk who may not be as mobile. Cornelia such a lovely host! Would love to...

We saw plenty of wildlife from the deck including crocodiles, Waterbuck, elephant, bushbuck, fish eagles, impala, hippos and plenty of birds. The house was comfortable with all the amenities you need to self-cater. The owner, Cornelia, was amazing. She shares her passion of the bush with guests and takes care of her beautiful place. The only negative for me was the barking dogs. You need to love dogs to stay here since they visit you most of the time. Still, a...
