Kierieklapper — Hotel in Nkomazi

Set in beautiful / idyllic bush location. We stayed for 2 nights.Kitchen and Food prep areas not very hygienically kept was our major gripe as we had to prepare food on 2nd day of our stay. Kitchen area is run over with little cockroaches, dishwasher is dirty inside. There is an icemaker, freezer and a double door "Coke" fridge which is very convenient - property also has backup power. Due to the roaches we discovered mostly on the second day of kitchen use, we turfed a whole braai supper because you just don't feel like you want to eat and live there. Rooms are spacious and fairly clean & serviced daily but no detergents and soaps are used. I might sound like a clean freak, but basic cleaning (soap and water) would have sufficed with us. Braai area is cleaned daily and well equiped with wood supplied by the owner - Overall I suggest to improve the cleaning of the kitchen area and bathrooms with good detergents but for this stay for me and my family it was definately a...

The most spectacular home, in a very special place. Saw elephant, warthog, giraffe, zebra, a small cat (civet?) And birds too numerous to mention. Heard lion and hippo constantly & we think we heard a leopard. All from the pool patio. Phumlani was our "butler-extraordinaire", looking after all our needs and requests, and Jabu brought our game drives to life with humour, local area knowledge & around fun. Highly recommended... close enough to Crocodile River Bridge entey to Kruger to have day drives. We saw rhino, lion, buffalo, elephant, giraffe & 5 of the endangered ground hornbill within Mjejane camp, so not need to leave the camp with we. Also had wonderful massages on the verandah, with the warthog shuffling around just below us. So so...

A beautiful and peaceful self-catering lodge nestled in Mjejane private game reserve. Great place to relax and unwind. Animals roam freely and it is not unusual to see monkeys, impalas, warthogs, a herd of elephants or hippos passing by. Great facilities including an upstairs entertainment area with a viewing spot, a pool and ample outdoor space to sit and relax. The one downside of the 3 bedrooms is the separate toilet without a sink which can be impractical at times as the sink is located on the other side...
