Komati Kruger Villas — Hotel in Nkomazi

We stayed in Villa 2 which is behind Villa 3 and 4 but still had amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay in this very spacious, easy going and well kitted out home. Charlain, Shirley and of course fabulos Enoc where superb hosts and we absolutely loved every minute. The beds were comfortable and super clean and morning coffee on the balcony with binoculars looking for game was a treat that I still miss. Evening braais and sundowners or dinner inside were our preferences although there are many restaurants in town with great food. The Crocodile Bridge Gate to Kruger National Park is close and we enjoyed many early morning and afternoon drives, some of them literally last minute before the gates closed. Upon arrival the villa looked like it had not been cleaned for months, which shouldn't make sense because we were told that morning that it was. That first night my family and I had discovered that in the bedrooms resided two alive bats and a dead one, they all were found underneath the beds which explains the disgusting stench that house possessed. Understandable so we had no electricity for few hours but all of the lamps in the house had no batteries, again showing the lack of maintenance performed before our arrival. Exceptional experience in a beautiful, rustic home away from home. Felt so blessed in the spacious house with my family. Although we were many, we never felt cramped.
