Mopani Villa — Hotel in Nkomazi

Absolutely stunning!! Within the first 20 min of us arriving, we had some awesome visitors. The giraffes were the first to welcome us to the villa, then the warthogs, then my personal fave, the zebras popped by. Photos and word of mouth do not do Mopani Villa justice. The actual house is rustic and beautiful. You have AC in the bedrooms, a microwave, dinnerware, towels and soap are also provided. There are 3 bedrooms/4 beds, 2 bathrooms, a shower, and a huge bath. Outside there is a private braai area, patio, and splash pool. You have unobstructed views of all the wildlife. Make sure to bring mosquito spray and expect to see some pretty large bugs outside (Christmas Beetles), after all you are in the bush. So I am not going to talk too much about the animals, as that is Marloth Park, and it is awesome. But I would like to say wow to Mopani Villa. Its a self catering house that really do have EVERYTHING you need. From sharp knives, air-condition, braai area, pool, towels and bedding. It's all there. A family of 6 will stay here comfortably for an extended period. The house is very nicely decorated and fits in with Marloth Park. It is situated close enough to the shopping centre and the river. The road is not busy past the house. The owners are very helpful and friendly, even though they are not there. I would recommend anybody...

Booked Fully paid beautiful location, Travelled 2 days to get here and HORROR as we unlocked the door. Dirty dirty dirty. No beds were made, rubbish bags on the floors, kitchen dirty and used toilets used, nothing but absolutely nothing cleaned. Dead snake under coffee table. Phoned and owners said "oh shame " to the situation we found the place in. Will try and get cleaners in within an hour. Locked and left with the "PROMISE OFF FULL REFUND" , trying to get accommodation on a Sunday afternoon and the financial burden of paying for that accommodation now too. Not at all...
