Avoid this place as the host is totally disinterested in making your stay pleasurable. It is large but essentially neglected. It was once a lovely home. We were rationed with firewood and drinking water despite daily rate of R7500. Towels were thin and hard, no hairdryer, no bathroom essentials, no bed warmers for winter. A most beautiful house in the most beautiful surroundings. 6 tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suites, a massive, fully-equipped kitchen and an amazing garden. An entertainment area looking out onto the pool too, plus lots more to see. The three staff members are so friendly and efficient and always in the background, at the ready to help with anything!
