Bradclin House — Hotel in Pinelands

December 2023 was my 16th consecutive annual holiday that I have enjoyed in Cape Town and Bradclin has been my choice of accommodation during each one of those 16 years.|The hosts Judelle and James are friendly people who do everything possible to ensure that you feel welcome and that your stay is free from stress.|The accommodation is consistently clean, comfortable, well maintained and affordable and has a lush, well-tended garden. It is located in Pinelands, a leafy suburb with an abundance of parks, trees and great views of Table Mountain. Another big plus is that the accommodation is self-catering for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. |I appreciated the silence in the evenings so that I could enjoy nights of peaceful sleep.|The location is convenient with all the amenities that the city has to offer such as beaches, restaurants, sites of historical interest, nature reserves, hiking and cycling trails, spectacular scenery and many more within easy reach.|I look very forward to spending my 17th annual holiday in Cape Town at the end of this year and once again enjoying all that Cape Town...

Bed linen was not changed in main bedroom. Owner was very defensive when this was mentioned to her. She was only prepared to come in two days later to investigate and correct this. We were expected to use the same towels for the full 6 days. There was raw sewer stench outside in the complex for the duration of the stay.This prevented us from taking evening walks.We should have been notified of this before the booking.The toilet was not cleaned properly.There was a strong stench of stale urine in the bathroom.Upon investigation there was collection of stale brown urine under the toilet seat which we had to clean up ourselves.Obviously from what we experienced WRT cleanliness the cleaner was not being supervised after each clean up.If this was done like it shouldthen it would have been noted that bedlinen was not changed and toilet seat was not cleaned like it was supposed to.Owner is only interested in the money and not...

Während unserer dreiwöchigen Filtterwochen in Südafrika, haben wir die letzten 5 Nächte in Kapstadt bei Judelle & James verbracht. Wir wohnten in der Feathers Suite, im Grunde eine komplette Wohnung mit Garten und Jacuzzi. Die Wohnung verfügt über alles was man braucht und wurde täglich tip top gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Besonders angenehm für die kühlen Nächte waren die elektrischen Heizdecken im Bett!||||Wir hatten inklusive Frühstück gebucht, was bedeutete, dass der Kühlschrank reichhaltig gefüllt wurde. Gemacht haben wir uns das Frühstück dann selbst. Es wäre auch kein Problem gewesen, sich selbst zu versorgen, da eine Mall mit Restaurants und Geschäften gleich um die Ecke war.||||Bradclin House befindet sich in dem Vorort Pinelands. Die Autobahnen sind sehr gut zu erreichen, somit ist man relativ schnell zum Flughafen (20 Min.), zur V&A Waterfront (15-20 Min.) und zum Tafelberg (25 Min.) gefahren. Grundsätzlich war das Autofahren in Kapstadt und Umgebung kein Problem, man sollte nur den Berufsverkehr meiden. Wir haben uns in Pinelands zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt und sind auch mal abends bei Dunkelheit von der Waterfront zurück gefahren.||||Judelle und James waren super nett und hilfsbereit.
