I traveled from Vereeniging to Cape Town for a three-week work trip and spent 10 days at Plattekloof. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel at home; Nicolle greeted me with a warm and friendly smile that I will always remember. My stay was truly enjoyable—returning from work to a clean room each day was wonderful, and the view from my window was spectacular; I could see both Table Mountain and the sea. We spent one night with Jaco at this very special lodge. Unfortunately we could not stay for breakfast, but based on the room we had, I would presume the breakfast would be excellent. This lodge is a stone's throw from the Panorama Heart and Lung facility and is easily accessible using main roads. From the airport it is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. A wonderful 6 day stay. The manager of the lodge was incredibly attentive and friendly. She changed my room when I requested a mountain view at no extra charge and also offered me a complimentary breakfast on my last morning which was delicious. The rooms are clean and spacious and the lodge is excellent value for money.
