Ons Dorpshuis Guest House — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

Rooms: Great looking, neat and has everything you may need inside. Didn’t particularly enjoy any of the shower heads used but that is completely subjective.

Customer Service: Very helpful and accommodating staff. Always friendly and there to help.

Food: Lunch packs are okay, nothing to write home about. Dinners are staggeringly good. I stayed with them for an accumulated 3 week period and not once was I disappointed by the dinner buffet. Excellent food.

WIFI: Atrocious. Absolutely atrocious. Not necessarily the fault of Ons Dorpshuis, as they did mention that “Telkom” was busy upgrading lines in the area however never really got a stable connection. Definitely going to lose points on that side.

We travelled far and phoned ahead because we wanted to check in early. The Manager Teach- was not very helpful. We arrived at 12:00 - check in 2 pm- and he kept telling us that he will see if the room is clean. I am a genius member when it comes to travel… never have I ever had such unhelpful service. Now I would have maybe changed our booking to a room that was clean- even say charge an additional fee- We booked and paid in full- just to be phoned by him to say we have to settle the account… I Would definitely send him for training. I am on a mission to find all the gems around Rustenburg and I love Ons Dorpshuis! This place guest house has been designed with so much love and definitely has a distinctive style. I loved exploring all the nooks and crannies, looking for new surprises. Alna's mother is a great artist and a lot of the great pieces are made by Hannetjie Visser (her mom).
