Klokkiebosch — Hotel in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

Wow is the only word I can use to describe this place! Jokobsbaai is so small. I convinced my pretentious boyfriend to finally stay here and we were not disappointed at all. We don’t need much but our room was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again.

What we were disappointed with was the lack of accommodating restaurants. The Hungry Monk is basically all there was and they are literally trying to win the award for most pretentious restaurant EVA! I personally would not recommend going there.

We were looking for Weskus Plek and got a Hangry Monk instead!

Wessel gave us the warmest welcome at his beautiful guesthouse. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with an incredible eye for detail in the décor. Its close proximity to the sea and tranquil gravel roads made it the perfect spot to tick off a bucket-list moment: witnessing a breathtaking sunset. It was truly picture-perfect!

A wonderful weekend in Jacobs Bay with the perfect host, Wessel. We were spoilt with tranquility, sea and sunset views from the patio and beautiful garden. One minute walk to the beach and easy-going walking trails. Tastefully artistic interior design & open spaces, interesting art, a wonderful collection of books and reading areas.
