Mc Kala Guest House — Hotel in Sol Plaatje Local Municipality

Stopped here on our way to Jhb from CT and they took us in quite late notice. It was comfortable and good for a place to lay your head. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and even put in an extra mattress for us in the room so I didn't have to use the sleeper couch. Room had a small kitchenette and fridge and kettle. Could maybe have a little maintenance and cleaning, but otherwise more than comfortable. ||||There is also a communal pool and braai area where you can relax. I stayed at Mc Kala guesthouse for a few days. I would highly recommend staying there; the rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious, good water pressure in the shower, affordable and the place is kept spick and span. The owner also went out of his way to help me and make my stay comfortable. I had broken down near his guesthouse with car problems and was virtually stranded. The owner and his son helped push my car to the guesthouse and helped me find a mechanic to fix it. I was really touched by their kindness and...
