The staff was excellent. Siba was very helpful. We had planned to leave early morning the day after we arrived to Mokala. I messaged the lodge before we arrived and requested for a packed breakfast for us. They provided us with a lovely meal that we enjoyed in the park. Since there are no restaurants at Mokala, we really appreciated the meal.
The second day, we ate breakfast at the Guest house and the service was fast and the food tasty.
Lots of secure parking within their gates.
Pretty good wifi.
The kettle in the room was appreciated during the rainy days and filtered water was supplied from the kitchen.
The beds were very comfortable and linen was clean.
Good quality toiletries in the bathroom.
However, The rooms feel a bit dated. Lighting is a bit dim.
Mum's room had a sofa, Ours just had the bed and one chair. A bit of inconsistency that was jarring.
There was no storage space or a place to hang clothes in our bedroom. There was a cupboard inside the bathroom. Not the most convenient option when 2 people are hurrying to get ready in...
Read moreI was initially a little worried about being close to the main road, but it made it very convenient to walk to the restaurants in close proximity. The rooms are very spacious and I received a room upgrade from Fabio so thay I could be close to my bike and park it undercover, which was a great option, as it poured with rain the whole evening and morning. I went back to sleep as it was impossible to leave early. I forgot to set an alarm and with the blackout curtains I woke up very late. Fabio came to the room, as a Staff Member had picked up my bank card that had fallen out of mh pocket. That was really amazing, as a trip back without it would have been a disaster. Fabio then made it even better by warming up the breakfast and bringing to my room so that I could pack and eat at the same time. I could not have wished for a better team and better service. Well done Fabio and Team. You do the...
Read moreVery helpful and attentive hosts. We booked a family studio, which had a microwave and small fridge. Unfortunately the studio did not meet my expectations created by the listing, which showed the rooms arranged around the pool, with patios opening onto the lawn surrounding the pool. I saw those rooms, and they looked every bit the languid relaxing room I expected from the listing. If I had known the family rooms were the back quarters I would have booked two tooms to get the pool and garden location. The room was very comfortable, bed and linen excellent. Anthony was a charming attentive host at breakfast, and they went out of their way to accommodate our dietary requirements. We also had access to bbq equipment so we had a braai for dinner, and they helped us with plates, cutlery and an outside light. Would definitely recommend this B&B, but note the location of the...
